Specialized Agency

Made in Canada

Since the very beginning of our agency we have always favored and tried as much as possible to represent companies that design and manufacture products here in Canada.

It may sound strange, but we prefer to sell “less but better” and have our retailers and consumers “buy less, but better”.

We realize that high-end, locally made products are not necessarily for everyone, but gradually, for environmental, social and economic reasons, we are seeing a growing interest from consumers and retailers to buy local and that is good.

Below are the brands we are representing that design and manufacture products here in Canada.

Canada West

Since 1978 Canada West has been designing and producing high quality boots in Winnipeg. The boots are produced with the classic and ultra-durable Goodyear welt technique. This type of production is very time consuming, but allows an experienced cobbler to easily re-sole the boots after several years. Thus, Canada West boots can be used for more than a decade! Canada West is run by the 3rd generation of Moorby, Graham Moorby, grandson of founder William Moorby.

Fourrures Grenier

Since 1970, the Grenier family from Barraute in Abitibi has made it their mission to make you love winter in beauty. They offer a complete collection of boots, mittens, hats and accessories made from noble, natural and biodegradable raw materials. Choosing a FOURRURES GRENIER product means opting for the warmth, comfort and quality of a product handmade in Quebec. The Grenier family focuses on quality and durability, for example the sole of their outdoor boots is guaranteed for life! Fourrures Grenier is managed by Jeanne Grenier, daughter of founders Rita & Robert Grenier.

BONNETIER offers three categories of products: a collection of outdoor clothing made of 100% merino wool, wool socks and soft sweaters made of organic cotton, recycled polyester and bamboo. The silk-screening is done with ecological water-based inks. All products are handcrafted in Quebec. Whenever possible, Bonnetier sources locally made fabrics to support the local economy and reduce the transportation of goods.

Saute Mouton

Since 1998, Saute Mouton has been making top-of-the-line winter boots to face Quebec winters. Saute Mouton favors well-made, noble and durable materials, with styles that will keep your feet warm for many seasons. Each pair is handmade in Quebec City. Saute Mouton is managed by Jacinthe Bergeron, daughter of the late Mr. Roger Bergeron who was a winter boot manufacturer and a very important figure in the Canadian shoe industry. Today, two of Jacinthe’s three daughters work alongside her in the company.

Canadian Beeseal

Beeseal is a heavy duty conditioner that cleans, moisturizes and preserves leather and wood. All the ingredients in Beeseal are 100% natural and from Canadian plant sources. Why? Because we believe that any leather conditioner should only contain ingredients that are good enough to be applied to the skin. Beeseal is made in Canada and contains beeswax, coconut oil, olive oil, canola oil, lemongrass essential oil, tea tree essential oil and vitamin E.
